Everything is OK 1 (Private Property)

Danny and Charlie go out to St Paul's Cathedral, the London Stock Exchange, and the Bank of England spreading a universal message of peace and love; namely, that EVERYTHING IS OK. These are our experiences with the people who do not want that message told to the fine citizenry of London. We do learn, however, that most places are designated as (the illusory) "private property" and as such freedom of speech, human rights, and normal human decency do not apply.

Everything is OK 2 - The Hunt for Terror

After a member of the Police Hugging Squad was detained for filming outside the USA Embassy in London earlier this month, the Undercover Anti-Terror Squad returned to spread the message of peace and love in order to prevent the end of the world by self-fulfilling prophecies of fear. We manage to hypnotise a young Policeman, perform a couple of songs, and find out how easy it is to get people to prove they are not terrorists.

Everything is OK 4 (Corporate Requiem)

We go to the belly of the corporate machine; Oxford Street in central London, and we rescue a hippy from the Police in Trafalgar Square by calling in the Police Hugging Department and sharing the love.
In this video we find that the Police are starting to warm to us and leave us alone to walk around London and call it like we see it. They are on our side, as they are fellow humans. We also interview people and we're humbled with how honest and beautiful people are. Thank you to everyone for your messages of support and love. Everything is OK 5 - Child Soldiers

It's just a choice between fear and love. They are opposing forces. We see how a fevered addiction to power drives men mad. It separates them from the cosmic consciousness. As much as their fears are figments of their imagination, they manifest this fear in a vice like grip of the physical world, which in effect drives you to fear too. The system is complete. Within it love and fear co-exist in mysterious ways.

Everything is OK 7 - The Peaceful Edition

Danny and Charlie experiment with signs in central london. Just to fill you in with a few things you dont see..... Danny is offering out a £10 note. Nobody is taking except you do see a young lad come and ask for it. I offer to give him the money and invite him to get it changed up and to give it away to people who really need it and do something of his own. He accepts the offer and takes the money. Why do the adults all refuse to take the money ?

Later, Danny is standing about 5 ft up by a monument near Leicester Square with his 'everything is ok' sign. This cool looking plain clothes cop (whom he has met before and coversed at length) ORDERS him down in the usual bad parent style. He comes down and asks what the problem is. The cop responds ' to prevent you from getting hurt' to which Danny responds 'I take full responsibility for my actions' but he is having none of this and radios in for CCTV cameras to record Danny. Danny has found this creeping attitude of police and security personnel 'protecting' us when we do not want or need it.' He does however say 'I love you guys' at the end !

Zach had me and my sister watch these, they're really awesome!
Someone commented on #7: "If I tried doing this in downtown Seattle I would be arrested in less than 5 minutes. People would also walk all over the sign because they are fucking ignorant zombies." Never been to Seattle, but that's true about America. The cops in these videos are also much nicer than American police.
The end of #3 was so beautiful I cried and my sister made fun of me.

Well this morning I was very emotional watching all those videos and now you have me in tears. Sorry it is just so beautiful. I just wish that more people can see the beauty in what this guy is doing. Here in Taiwan they don't even hug their kids We get strange looks when we hug ours. I can just picture somebody standing in Taipei with a board saying free hugs and he would be avoided like the plague. Very sad.

P's and Q's
Means to learn one's letters. Dates back to the late 18th century. Some people think it refers to the hard time children had learning to distinguish between the letters p and q, since they are mirror images of one another.



We received these emails from site visitors:

Email 1: P’s n Q’s: it actually means, Mind your Pints and Quarts. In Pubs when people would start arguing, the bartenders would tell them to mind their own drinks... being pints n quarts!

Email 2: I always thought that Mind your P's and Q's meant to behave appropriately. Also I thought it meant that if you don't mind your P's and Q's You are irresponsible Because if P's and Q's were referred to as Penny's and Quarters and nobody minded or paid attention to them and you lost them then you would have lost your Pennies and Quarters, or P's and Q's.

Email 3: The most convincing explanation of this idiom I've heard is that it comes
from the early days of printing, when movable type was positioned for
printing. This process was done upside-down - a technique not impossible to
get used to after some time. However, the lowercase letters p and q were
hard to distinguish, since in most designs they were mirror images of each
other. Hence" mind your P's and Q's!", a phrase I was told was shouted at
young children working in these print shops.

Email 4: I am under the impression that the saying minding your p's and q's, does
mean mind your pints and quarts. Bartenders would use tally marks i.e. 4
pints equal a quart, if the customer got out of line, the bartender would
use the phrase, mind your p's and q's. I have also heard the customer would
use it when they thought they were being over charged.

Email 5: I have heared a different story about the saying mind your p's and q's. Back when Mark Twain lived in Missouri or as he liked to call it Missary, he had a horrable job working as a newspaper editor. The job was to put the letters that were to make all the words on the page in sentence form backwords. There was an upper case and lower case (thuse the use of that idiom) and Mark Twain once wrote in a news article about the two letters in the English alphabete that were mirror images of themselves. He said, "no mater how hard he tried he could never mind his p's and q's". This means that when he did his job he had to make sure that if he choose a q it was really a p and not a q but when printed it was backward so if it was a p it was really a q and vise versa.

Email 6: As a bartender for 16 years, you've got 1/2 the stoy right. In the days of old in taverns and pubs, mind your p's and q's was a term the bar owner or manager said at the end of the night to the waitresses or cocktail girls. They kept track of what they sold by marking P's and Q's on a peice of paper for all the pints and quarts they sold or disbursed. The bar owner would say, "Mind your P's and Q's, (pints and quarts). That meant for them to tally up their P's and Q's and give a total.
