Got some poems lying around collecting dust, I am going to put them here so they can be of some use!
Most of these were written about a year ago or so, but I was thinking that perhaps starting this thread might inspire me to write some more!

Heres one about the forum

The forum of love

To find a place where it all comes together
Where everyone feels like birds of a feather
Where love is prevalent and relationships bloom
Where i feel like a baby safe in her womb

It's the forum of love
and it fits like a glove
you make me feel free
to be,
just me.

I thought i had settled for a path in my life
I was ready to go there dispite all the strife
When i found that the dream id kept deep in my soul
Was the dream of a tribe to help me feel whole

I'ts the forum of love

Because of your love i could open my heart
To feel that each day is a brand new start
So now i no longer feel so lost in stagnation
Now my whole life is a love celebration

Love shuttle

A funny thing, love
so intense and so subtle
It lifts us above
all the pain like a shuttle

A ride into space
Will you travel with me?
A loving embrace
then we'll truly be free.

let love surround you
ill hold you forever
my love will be true
through any endeavour

Shades of you

You know theres nothing I can do to shake you,
you're with me every moment of my day.
You haunt every thought i think
in every possible way.
Its like wearing coloured lenses,
cept these arn't green, red or blue.
These lenses that I'm wearing
tint my world in shades of you!

Water

I could drown in the drought of my own desire,
but I choose now to lift my love up higher.
I will go with the tide, I will ride the wave,
no more wading in ebb I got my soul to save.

My life sometimes feels like an ocean of doubt,
and passion will choke me if I dont let it out.
So I'll throw myself upon the wrath of the sea,
in the midst of this chaos I'll set my heart free.

I will dive to the deepest most colourful reef
and there i will cleanse all the anger and grief.
Then when I surface, for that reviving breath,
I'll no longer doubt what is life and what's death.

Sometimes

Sometimes I wonder.
I wonder about the ocean touching the sky,
about your eyes.
The way they drown me
and if I could gaze into them I know I'd die.
Your embrace resurrect me
and I would be finally be free.
You know I think of you,
I think of you all the time.

Sometimes I wonder.
I wonder about the world spinning round,
about your body.
The way it attracts me
and if I could softly touch you I know I'd cry.
Your embrace would dry my tears
and I would finally be free.
You know I think of you,
I think of you all the time.

Sometimes I wonder.
I wonder about the wind moving the leaves,
about your love.
The way it calls to me
and if I could only move I know I'd run to you.
Your embrace would heal my heart
and I would finally be free.
You know I think of you,

It seems

in life and love and dreams
nothing's really like it seems

so let it be and let it go
stop this pacing to and fro

lift your soul and lift your mind
leave all worries far behind

free your heart and free your love
lift your spirit high above

nothing's really like it seems

You have a beautiful meter and rhythm with the words that you use gorgeous. You also do something that I LOVE in poetry, you make it rhyme !!!

Like the sparkling light that dances
in a happy forest stream.
A twinkling and a twirling
inviting me to dream.

Like the motion of the treetops
in a playfull summer breeze.
A swinging and a swirling
that brings me to my knees.

So you dazzle me, you move me
like sun and wind combined.
Still, you give such clarity
and balance to my mind.
